Synopsis: Ahmad Ismael (Cesar Montano) is a doctor who chose to practice his profession in Manila -- far away from conflict-ridden Mindanao, the land of his birth. But when he receives the terrifying news of his son's death, he rushes home to his family in the province. Upon Ahmad's arrival, he witnesses the sufferings of innocent people who get caught in the war between the government and the militants. Ahmad is now torn as to which side to take -- will he finally embrace his heritage by defending his people or will he continue to disregard the war and just continue on with his mission of taking his family away from everything?
